Why I’m Finally Writing It Down
Not a blueprint, just the real stories I’ve been sharing out loud for years.
Building teams, raising humans, and calling it like I see it.
Circle Back is where ideas get a second life. In agency, it means returning to something when it’s ready for more attention. For me, it comes from years of navigating creative work and leadership in some of the busiest, boldest agencies in NYC. Today, I serve as Chief Creative Officer across two companies — Rhythm and MediaCurrent, leading teams across digital experiences, design, and brand. I created Circle Back to help others find clarity, confidence, and connection through honest conversation and shared experience, while also extending my passion for connecting with people in the digital space and through my Substack storytime 🍵. Sometimes the best way forward is to circle back. 😉
Jumped from gig to gig during the 2008 recession. Learned to switch gears fast, connect with the good ones, dodge the mean ones, and never say no to opportunity. Met my best mentor and my trickiest co-worker in the same year — one showed me how to push for better, the other reminded me what it feels like when someone pulls the ladder up instead of lending a hand. Learned to let go, lean on my network, and start curating the kind of work I wanted to be known for.
For quick clarity or a second opinion.
When you want to roll up your sleeves and really figure things out.
Ongoing mentorship with minimum 2-month commitment.
Not a blueprint, just the real stories I’ve been sharing out loud for years.
Work, kids, life — someone’s always getting the short end of the stick (sometimes it’s you).
Why every no comes with guilt, and why I say it anyway.
